The Garden
The Garden at Greenway Court Theatre is an immersive and transformative new playwriting development series with an emphasis on nurturing emerging voices and promoting inclusivity. It aims to cultivate new and poignant scripts by fostering an environment of support and collaboration among professional Los Angeles playwrights, directors, and actors, all led by an experienced dramaturg. Throughout the process participants receive invaluable feedback, engage in cold readings and participate in workshops, culminating in a staged public reading.

It is after much careful consideration and with a heavy heart that we have decided to postpone our Play Development Series, The Garden, until further notice. We are so grateful and inspired by all those who submitted proposals and have been fortified in our belief that this series has a home in this community. We cannot wait to bring this series to you all and will continue to work hard behind the scenes to actualize our vision. If you are in a position to do so, we ask you to consider donating to our theatre. The more financial support we receive, the sooner we can bring The Garden to life.
