If you are ready to go deep and connect with the parts of yourself that still need   healing, this is a great place to start. In this workshop you will be asked to examine parts of your life through writing prompts and other activities. I will use my story and lessons from my life to share what I’ve learned about self-healing and talk openly about how I am still stumbling through it. Topics include: fear, baby steps to self-love, moving from pain into power and honoring yourselfEveryone is welcome. 100% safe space. Come with an open heart and mind. Does the perfect poem exist? In Find The Poem, poet Asia Samson travels the country to speak to 30 of his favorite spoken word artists- both veteran and rookies- who have dedicated their life to the art of poetry.  Follow him as he interviews each poet- taking a deep dive into their philosophies and insights in search of learning more about the craft to which he has dedicated his life while also attempting to invigorate his passion for it.  Listen as each poet speaks about their writing process, the ups and downs of pursuing poetry as a career and express their vulnerabilities about being on stage all in the pursuit of finding the perfect poem. A Q&A/Talkback will be hosted by Arianna Basco immediately after the film.
